Jazzercise, Inc. is proud to announce that Founder and CEO Judi Sheppard Missett was named Woman of the Year by San Diego Magazine. The honor was presented at the 2014 San Diego Magazine Woman of the Year Awards on September 24th at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla, California. The Woman of the Year Awards honor dynamic local women who work tirelessly to affect positive change and enhance the community.
More than 450 San Diegans attended the event, including the 77 Woman of the Year nominees. The Leadership Award was presented to Chancellor Constance Carroll, Ph.D., of the San Diego Community College District. The Public Service Award was presented to Chief Shelley Zimmerman of the San Diego Police Department. Judi Sheppard Missett was chosen as the Woman of the Year.
