If you’re like us and can’t start your day without coffee but also know that fall is synonymous with Pumpkin Spice Lattes (or PSL’s for those ‘in the know’), then this next recipe is for you.
Fit Meets Fab’s, Maggie Susac, shares a final PSL switcheroo is for those who enjoy making their own cup of joe first thing in the morning. If you are one who buys the pumpkin spice creamer in the fall and the peppermint mocha creamer around Christmas time, you’ll love this. Nutpods has created the best thing to happen to the pumpkin spice world: Pumpkin Spice Nutpods! As soon as fall arrived, we ordered our Nutpods and have been enjoying our own homemade PSL these last few weeks! We will say, any pumpkin spice creamer that you can find in your local grocery store will work just as well.
DIY Dairy-Free PSL
1 cup of freshly brewed coffee
1 tbsp. pumpkin spice nutpod
¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
1 pinch of cinnamon & pumpkin spice
Directions: Brew your favorite coffee bean. If you are lucky enough to have a milk frother, add the tbsp. of pumpkin spice Nutpod to the ¼ cup of unsweetened almond milk and froth. If you don’t have a milk frother, you can get the same effect using your blender. First heat the milk & Nutpod then place in your blender and blend on medium speed until frothy. Top your coffee with the milk, cinnamon and pumpkin spice. Then… Enjoy this semi-sweet yet healthy pumpkin spice dairy-free “latte”!
